If you have an Instagram account, follow any type of blogger, stylist, or other account that primarily has a fashion-focused feed, you have probably noticed they tag LIKEtoKNOW.IT, or hashtag #LTK and others of the sort. I found myself intrigued enough to study it one day, downloaded the app, and have not looked back. I have always LOVED shopping – especially for clothes, but if the COVID-19 pandemic taught us anything, it’s that online shopping has come such a long way and is so easily accessible at our fingertips. Which makes shopping for clothes even more fun!

One of the things I love about the bond I have with my sisters and my close girlfriends, is that we share our favorite deals on clothes, recent/favorite purchases, and always send outfit pictures for opinions. Now, I’m reminiscing on the concerts, nights out, dinner parties, and all other pre-COVID fun events that demanded the “What are you wearing?!” text. Even so, I’ve still been buying outfits that make me feel good – whether I’m lounging at home or planning a holiday outfit, I love to see what others are wearing. This is what I love about the liketoknow.it app. Everyone shares what they’ve found on sale, their favorite items in general, or trending pieces! From expensive cashmere sweaters, to tie-dye joggers, to the best mascara at Sephora, it’s a community of women that love to curate outfits.

LIKEtoKNOW.IT partners with thousands of brands so you can link the items in the picture and directly shop from the app. Each item that’s available to purchase in real time, will be directly below the image so you can click on each individual object. You can apply for an Influencer account and if/when approved, you have the opportunity to create your own profile and grow your own brand. I was approved a few months ago and have been sharing some of my most loved items and linking them through my images.

So here’s another insider detail. With linking the items in my pictures, I can earn a small commission if someone purchases something I’ve shared. Same price, same brand, same item as if you had found it on your own, but instead I am providing all of the information for you, including the direct link to the item. HOW COOL IS THAT?! I’ve spent hours looking at the beautifully curated profiles on the LTK app and am blown away at how creative women can be whilst doing something they love. Which is why I am so proud and excited to have an Influencer account with LTK! I love fashion and I love sharing pieces that make me feel good, so I know that other women will enjoy them as well! With my Cosmetology background, I’m a natural hair, makeup, and skin junkie and these are also items that I can share on the app.
